Entra ID MFA with certificate based authentication - possible?
As an MSP we've a lot of software OTP's to connect to our customers Entra ID / Microsoft 365 as an Global Admin if needed.
We would like to change to a more Phishing-Resistant MFA solution,
Yubikeys works fine, but not really possible to have assign to each customer and not possible (as I see it) to use "shared" in RDM.
Is it possible to use certificate based authentication when connecting to customers and possible to use this with RDM to assign a certificate for Entra ID user for a customer for access?
Is there other ways to get a Phishing-Resistant MFA solution that can be "shared" in RDM for Entra ID access?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.
Based on recent customer requests, passkey solutions have become increasingly popular. With Remote Desktop Manager, you can store passkeys for your accounts using the Workspace Browser Extension.
For more information and setup instructions, please refer to the following documentation article:
https://docs.devolutions.net/workspace/kb/workspace-browser-extension/passkey/
Please let me know what you think or if you have any questions.
I look forward to your reply.
Best regards,
