SSH Keys / Credentials / Using builtin SSH Shell

avatar

Hello all. I'm fairly new to RDM and I have a question about using SSH keys with the built in ssh shell. Is there a way to have an ssh key in the credential list and use it on ALL of the ssh shell connections? I know I can do each separate session but I'm wondering if I can do it globally. Is there an add on that I could use? I like using the builtin because it's faster for me since it shell not have to run a separate application, like putty.

I would be interested in knowing if it's possible.

Thanks!

Glen

maybe you can do if you save your ssh-key in .ppk-file and add in advanced-register change app to Plink and under "other parameters" insert cmd-line-parameter with .ppk?

Kind Regards

We've been planning to create a credential entry of sub-type "private key"

You could use it as any other credential entry

Its on our board, we just need the time to implement it

Well great! Thanks for the info. I want it now but I guess that will have to do. :-)
