Import connections from csv

avatar

Hi,

I have an Excel-sheet with about 400 servers.
The sheet has a lot of details: Hostname, Applications, Remark, Windows Domain, Conf. type, Physical hardware, Hosts,CR,Rack,OS,OS, Bits,IP, Addresses , Age.

Iwould like to import these into Remote Desktop Manager with ALL their info + if they are virtual or not.
Then this excel could be used for future massive adaptations if needed. We then just export the Excel, adapt things and reimport (if these things can’t be done with batch edit).

Please advise.
Steven

...? Yes, I know, but that does not import my sheet .... I need the template with all fields in it, if I export the sessions existing, not all fields are there.

And if I import the csv, I get an "invalid csv format". So please provide a default csv with all fields I can use for import or another solution which I can use to import my Excel.

do you mean something like that information?
(see attachement)

Kind Regards

Hi

Powershell will give you full control

Please have a look at http://forum.devolutions.net/topic4977-extend-included-fields-in-an-import-csv-file.aspx

Nice, but don't understand why the csv-export/import doesn't provide this functionality. Also this Poweshell import guide is not well document enough to start with.
However, don't have time to figure this PowerShell-config and it is not needed anymore for now.
