Workspace Desktop App - Search Limitations

You're absolutely right—this functionality is indeed useful, and we can confirm that the ability to search by text in fields like the username from the Workspace Desktop App is already on our roadmap. We understand its importance and appreciate your input in helping us improve the experience.

In the meantime, you can use the search bar at the top where it says "Search entries by name." To extend the search across all vaults and include all fields of the entries, simply click on the icon next to "CTRL + K" and check the "Include all fields" option.

Thanks for your reply and I am glad this is on your roadmap.
I had tried the workaround you suggested but it still yields no results for contents of fields such as the username.


Is there an ETA for this feature to be released?

Thank you for your follow-up and for testing the workaround. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We'll go ahead and create a ticket to address the issue with the workaround not returning results as expected.

As for the feature itself, it is scheduled to be included in version 2026.1.0, which is planned for release in early March.
