SSH Terminal - ESC-N Alt-S/Alt-C shortcuts not working anymore

avatar

Hello,

after recent updates of my RDM to 2025.3.28.0 I noticed, that some hotkeys in linux SSH Terminal (ESC-N) sessions aren't working anymore.
When I connect with putty to the server, everything is fine.
I checked following:
in putty a cat -v shows for Alt-S the sequence ^[s, but in RDM it is ^[S (S) in upper case.

Is there any option, where I can change the behavior? I have the issue with midnight commander, which I use a lot.
Strangely: Alt-H is working in mc, even it is in uppercase too.

I'm sure, that it was working untile some update in December.

Regards Mario

Ok, I just saw the Thread v2025.3.26.0 - trouble in linux terminal console with function keys, so I'm going to install 2025.3.29.0...

Hi Mario,

Perfect.

Please let us know how it goes after testing with version 2025.3.29.0, and if the behavior changes compared to 2025.3.28.0.

Best regards,
