User specific settings not working
I've created a SQL datasource that has a lot of entries (imported from Remote Desktop Connection Manager).
On one subtree I can set the "User specific settings", and for every entry that has no stored credentials the user-specific ones are used. Every subfolder has Credentials set to "Inherited", btw
On another subtree I'm trying to do the same, but it doesn't work. It's the same setup (Credentials for subfolders set to "Inherited", no credentials entered)., but when I try any entry, it still asks for credentials. I've made sure that User specific settings are filled in -- I even tried Local machine settings, but that didn't work either.
Could someone help me with this? Or show me at least a way to find the problem (using a log file or something)?

Can you send me (or post it here) a screen shot of a session that doesn't work along with the user setting override of it's parent folder.

For anyone interested, Stéfane came up with the following workaround (for v8.5.4.0):
- Remove the User Settings from the (parent) node
- Edit the (parent) node, on More tab put in a comment – anything it doesn’t matter
- Click OK
- Now re-add the User Settings to that node
