v2025.3.26.0 - trouble in linux terminal console with function keys

I ran some tests on my side to see how the SSH terminal handles the key combinations you mentioned. Using showkey -a on the Linux console, all key sequences, including Alt and Shift+Alt combinations, are transmitted correctly. I tested on both RDM 2025.3.25 and .27.

Since these shortcuts are not native to Linux and are only interpreted by applications like Midnight Commander, it would be helpful to confirm whether the key sequences reach your system correctly as well.

When you have a moment, could you run the following command on your machine and then press the affected key combinations?
showkey -a

I was able to reproduce the issue on my end and have identified the differences between the current version and version 2023.3.25 of RDM. I’ve reported this as a bug to our development team, and they will begin working on a fix.

I’ll follow up with you as soon as the fix is deployed in a future update.
