In a dynmic IP List, the search function does not work for IP Addresses.
Example: I have an entry which is listet within the dynamich IP list. This entry has the value "1.1.1.1" in the Asset field for the IP Address.
When I search for the IP "1.1.1.1", no result will be displayed.

Could you please specify the version of RDM you are currently using?
That being said, inside the filter can you press the ",,," button and go under "Asset Options" -> "Include General information" and make sure the "IP" option is enabled?
If the value is inside another of the assets fields, it would also need to be enabled in the filter for it to be displayed.

Could you confirm which type of entry you are using? Is this with an RDP-type entry?

It does not matter what kind of entry is beeing used, none of them can be searched over this view.
I'm using DVLS datasource.
I think the search there does only query the Hostname field, not the IP field.

Is the goal in this case to find one of your entries by using the IP stored in the assets?

I tested this on my side and confirmed that all columns can be searched except for the IP column. I’ll report this issue to the development team so they can begin working on a fix.

We've updated the search field so that it uses the same one that can be found in Password List, this should provide the behavior you are looking for. You can expect this with the upcoming 2026.1.3 version.
