In RDM when I press CTRL+SHIFT+E while an item is selected in the dashboard pane, it allows me to edit the user specific settings. However, if I press CTRL+SHIFT+E while an RDP item is highlighted in the All Entries pane, first it asks me to save the item and then after I close that window it opens up the user specific settings window. If I press CTRL+SHIFT+E while other items (like VMware entries) are highlighted in the All Entries pane, it opens the user specific settings window properly. Granted I don't have every entry type defined yet, but it only seems to happen when I use the shortcut with RDP entries. It does it from the Favorites pane also (for RDP sessions only from what I can tell).
Thanks
Could you post a print screen of the save dialog you get?
David Hervieux
Can you set me up to post images? I can't post images or attachments.
Thanks
Do you get an error? It should work for everyone?
David Hervieux
Don't see an error. I may be missing something. I can't paste one into my replies and I don't see an option to add either attachments or images (i.e., <img> or anything). All I see as options are:
Mark as "accepted answer" • link • reply with quote • Report to moderator
add reply show rated messages only Stop watching this topic
So I checked the FAQ and it said to check with the system administrator. Should I link to an outside image from PhotoBucket or something?
Don't use the quick reply, use add reply:

Kewl - thanks.
When I press CTRL-SHIFT-E, it asks me to save my RDP session (this only happens when I press CTRL-SHIFT-E to edit the settings on an RDP entry). It happens from "All Entries" and from my "Favorites" navigation pane as well. Editing seems to work properly on VMware entries, SSH, etc.

Hi,
It seems that RDM has the same shorcuts for two different actions. This will be fixed in the next release but in the meantime you can go in File->Options and change the Export shortcuts
