Winget Version

avatar

Hi,

I just installed RDM using winget. The last version in winget is 2025.3.16.0 while the newest version i can download on the site is 2025.3.21.0.
Why is there such delay between winget and your own download repository?

Karel van der Linden

Hello,

We will take a look, it's not normal. Our publication pipelines worked properly for 2025.3.17.0, 2025.3.20.0 and 2025.3.21.0, but they don't seem to be available and we didn't get a failure notification.

Hello,

The 2025.3.22 version of RDM should now be available; it was just approved on the winget end.

We had an issue with our template, which we fixed, so the new releases should be all set.

At this moment 2026.3.12.0 is the latest version in winget, while .13 is out since 30 september. Is this problem back again perhaps?

Hello,

It seems something went wrong with that specific release workflow with Winget. Our Devops told me it should work in the next release.

Please do not hesitate to keep us updated if it doesn't work as expected with the upcoming 2026.3.15.0.

Hi Michaël,

Winget is still on version .12 at this moment. .15 was release 4 days ago now, I see.

Hello,

We will check to see what went wrong, as the pipeline to publish 2026.3.15.0 to winget was properly ran on our side. Something must have hit a snag.

Also the Devolutions.ServerConsole is relatively old in winget at version 2026.2.16.0. Would it be possible to update this as well?

Hello,

DevOps team here. Thank you for reporting this, and sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

For Remote Desktop Manager, we're still working on the 2026.3.15 release on WinGet. The submission ran into an unexpected issue in Microsoft's validation pipeline, and we're following up with the WinGet moderators to get it published.

For Devolutions.ServerConsole, this package has been maintained by the community so far, and we didn't officially support it. We'll look into it in more detail and take it over so updates reach WinGet faster.

Thanks again for your patience, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Kind regards,

Raphael Lariviere

Thank you so much for the update. No sweat, this was just to notify you of the outdated versions in winget.

Hello,
Thank you for letting us know, and glad the update helped.
Our DevOps team is working with the WinGet moderators to get 2026.3.15 published. They’ll also take over the package that was maintained by the community, so future updates reach WinGet faster. Until the WinGet versions catch up, you can always download the latest build from our website.
Since there’s nothing else needed on your side, I’ll close this case. If you see the WinGet versions falling behind again, just reply here and it will reopen automatically.
Best regards,

Carl Marien
