Add Custom Fields to AutoType Context Menus

Please add "Custom Fields" to the context menus "Auto Typing".

If I define a Custom-Field in one of my entries or on a folder (inherited). These custom fields should automatically appear in the "Auto Typing" context menus as additional opens.

We use a very special Bastion/PAM Solution from Wallix to access our Backend servers. We first must login to the bastion host with our primary identity and then we end up in an intermediate login screen for the target host RDP session. We managed to use a special syntax (from Wallix) for username to inject the hostname and username of the target host to the intermediate login screen. But the password does not work.as the intermediate login screen suffers from bad implementation.

So our idea was to store the password of the target system into a custom field (sensitive field) and then do an auto typing on the intermediate logon screen into the password field. It is not as efficient as it could be but it really would help.

The best way would be if Devolutions would offer an integration with WALLIX as it does for CyberArc or Hashicorp.

Perry

Hello Perry,

Just to confirm with you, if we were to add a button to type one of the custom fields, the ones flagged as sensitive would require the "view sensitive" permission for the user, otherwise they wouldn't be able to use it. This is the same behavior as with the "type password" button, which requires the "view password" permission. Is this fine for you?

As for proper Wallix support, we'll be noting your interest but it's not in our short term roadmap.
