Working with external rdp files

avatar

Hi

My company are using RoyalTS for their remote desktop management.
I know I can import the file to my RDM app, but the file change constantly.
Is there a way I can use the RoyalTS file with RDM but without modifying it when I add my credentials, but will keep getting the updated version of native RoyalTS file?
I like my RDM and I paid for it but don;t really want to move over to RoyalTS.

PS: I have asked them to switch.. :)

Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately RDM can only import and it would be much more complicated to rewrite the file back. I will be afraid to corrupt it.

Do you use a SQL Server data source? If not maybe you could setup a database and give access to your colleague. They will see all the benefit of a database:

- User access management
- Connection logs
- Attachments
- Todo (beta)
- And much more

Hi

Thanks for your reply.
I was hoping to only read the file as read only.
Do you guys have like and enterprise Trial license?
So I can try them to give it a go and see if I can change their mind.
