Hi,
Is possible create a sub entry in template entry? This could provide us capability to create all entries related to one assets.
Hello,
It's possible but you will need to create template groups. If you create a template group, then you can select the entry you want to have a sub-entry, press the arrow next to the "+" (add) button, and select "add to template group". You will then be prompted to add a regular entry or a sub-entry.
Let me know if this works for you.

thank you Hubert. Is possible to input some basic info, like hostname and IP address during create a set of entries from template group? Currently I only can change it after create entries.
Hello,
This is not possible at the moment, partly because there's no simple solution when adding a lot of entries at the same time. It would be cumbersome to mark which entries you would like to prompt for, and how to identify which entry you are currently prompting. If you have a simple setup with one main entry and one sub-entry, it's not so complex, but template groups could have dozens of entries and that's where it gets more complex.
We'll keep this in mind and think about how to achieve this but at the moment I don't have an elegant solution.

One of thoughs is maybe we can link with IP address list that will be perfect.
Hello,
Could you give more details as to how this would help in your scenario? Maybe some screenshots to help present what you'd like to do. Templates are unable to reference entries located outside of the templates, so I'm not seeing how being able to link to an IP Address List entry for the host would help.

Hi, Hubert
Currently the IP address list more like a IP address management list, only provides the IP address info. If we can turn it to entry manangement list, that will be more powerful, IP address list provides IP address, host info now, if we can add connection type, sub entry(yes/no), template, folder those info, then add an button to porpulate entries, that will be perfect. Just some thoughts.
Thank you for the additional details. I understand what you mean. We will have to give this some thought, but it would have to fit well into our other systems, which is the challenging part.
For now, we will monitor this thread for additional feedback to help us prioritize this, and we welcome other ideas by our community as well, as it might help us find a simpler solution that would be quicker to implement.
