Shortcuts to a session object.

If I create a session object, e.g., TeamViewer or RDP, inside a Server object, I can't create a shortcut to TV or RDP.
Could you please change this?

Hello,

From what I understand, you would like to be able to make shortcuts of sub-entries? We would have to rework how sub-entries work with their "folder" fields to support this (as this is how shortcuts are handled). We will monitor this thread for additional feedback to help us prioritize this, as at the moment it will not fit into our short-term roadmap.

Hello,
Thank you for the information. I hope you'll quickly address this issue. It would be very convenient to be able to place TeamViewer and RDP connections within objects representing the computers they connect to and also gather shortcuts to these connections in a single list instead of searching through subfolders.

At the moment there could be two things to help you:

  • Favorites: With favorites, you could favorite the entries you use often and organise them how you want in the favorite tab
  • Using different folder types to avoid using sub-entries: In your case, the reason why you're not able to create shortcuts to these entries should be because they are sub-entries. To avoid creating sub-entries and keeping the same structure, you could ensure you always use folders to create that structure, rather than sub-entries. In your example screenshot, if your middle-level entry was a folder instead, it would allow you to create shortcuts to the lowest-level entries.

Maybe these solutions can help you in the mean time.

Just found how to create Shortcuts at all: https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/commands/edit/shortcut/
And I am also +1 for shortcuts to subentries as well.
