Pinned Icon removed after install of new version.

I have the ICON pinned to my task bar after every upgrade i have to delete it and re-pin it because the icon location changes to the below location?

C:\Users\NAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

Hi,
This is a know issue but we haven't found a fix for now. We hope that an upgrade of our third party installer will resolve this.

Same Issue here.

This Problem now exists more than 7 Years. And there is still no process.
I think you have to avoid deleting an recreating the Start Menu Shortcuts when installing. Other installer work like this and user have no problems.

I have a good news. This problem was a nightmare (I personally worked a lot to find a solution without success) for me and I thought that we had to change completely our installation tools to fix it. But Richard, one of our senior developer finally found a solution and this should be fixed for the next update.
