DMA not available ?

Hi,
I'm really not aware of a problem like that, but what is DMA ? What do you mean by when you are connected ? Connected with what, Remote Desktop, VNC .... ?

let me try to explain:

I'm connected from home via Remote Desktop Manager to my work (VPN).

I have two emulators running at the work computer.

One is communicating via a COM port, I couldn't get connected via the COM port but I had to 'untick' in Remote Desktop Manager on the tab 'Local resources' the 'Use serial ports' option and that makes this emulator work.

The other emulator is running also at my work computer: 'Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 MSFP Emulator Images' to simulate a mobile device.
This emulator 'communicate' via Microsoft ActiveSync via DMA

ActiveSync could not connect to this device when i'm working remote, when I'm behind the terminal at work, it works fine. So I thought maybe there is some setting like the 'Use serial ports' (something like 'Use DMA connections' remote or local)

And to tell what DMA is, I really don't know at the moment, I just know that ActiveSync want to have that option to connect to a Mobile Emulator Image.

So I don't know or this can be solved, and I don't even know or this has something to do with the Remote Connection, I just noticed.. It don't work if I'm running the emulator from a remote computer.

Ha...... my mistake, trying to explain it more clear and wend to the immage emulator... i found the option: 'Click on the device and then you can click Actions and select Cradle. This will initiate ActiveSync' ... forgot to set this .. so it works fine...
