Multiple issues when using Personal hub datasource

For the context, I'm using

  • Version 2025.2.11.0
  • Datasource: personal hub


I used the offline datasource (SQLite) without problem. Now that I want an online sync solution, I migrated to Personal hub. However, I noticed a few issues:

  • Applying setting changes is super slow
  • RDM randomly (and frequently) prompt me to login again, which is really annoying
  • Can't use RDM (the hub datasource specifically) if there's no internet connection (I was expecting an "offline mode")

To clarify, you are encountering this performance issue when editing the entry's Properties? Could you confirm how many entries you currently have? The total number should be displayed in the bottom left corner.

How often are you prompted to reauthenticate? Is it multiple times per day? Are you prompted to reauthenticate while using the application or only after some inactivity?

Regarding the offline mode, while connected to the Hub under the "File" section, you can use the "Go Offline" button to switch to Offline mode, where you can see and launch your entries but not edit or create new ones.

I have only 36 entries. And this performance issue occur everytime I modify anything (entry's properties, RDM's settings, etc.) I can send you a video if needed.
In addition, the app startup time is also noticably longer.

It's after some inactivity, and whenever I reconnect to the internet. I can also provide you with a video regarding this issue.

However, how about this case:

  1. Using online mode
  2. Close application
  3. Turn off internet connection
  4. Reopen the application

The sequence above will make all saved session unavailable until I reconnect to the internet again.
Is there any setting/workaround for that?

Regarding your last point, I'm afraid there would not be a workaround for this currently. I would recommend you create a feature request for this.
