avatar

RDM Version: 2025.2.20.0 64
Datasource: DVLS 2025.2.2.0

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create Password List "List1"
  2. Create Password List "List2"
  3. Select List1 and List2
  4. Edit (special actions) > Move to existing password list
  5. Select List1 as target

Actual behavior:

  • List1 and List2 disapear
  • List1 and List2 can be found in Deleted entries
  • List1 contains Entries from List1 and List2; Entries from List1 are duplicated

Expected behavior:

  • Error Message without Changes
  • or List1 and List2 are not available for target
  • or List1 appears merged without duplicates

Hello kritzinger,

Thank you for reaching out to the Devolutions support team.

Can you tell me how many entries you have in each list?
Do you have additional information configured under those credentials, like OTP or description?

Best regards,

Patrick Ouimet

Hello @Patrick Ouimet ,

It is reproducible with one entry each list.
You only need to input minimum information - just do be able to save the list.

Just give yourself a try. It is very easy to reproduce.

Hello kritzinger,

To move one to another, do not select both of them.
The option is called move to another existing list, and RDM can't process both information at the same time.

I got a different behaviour, my password list entry was deleted.

I will open an internal ticket on this.

Best regards,

Patrick Ouimet

Hello,

We've found and fixed the issue. A Password list selected as a destination list will no longer be deleted upon finishing the changes.
You can expect these changes to take effect with the upcoming 2025..2.24 version.
