Upgrading RDM

Hello.

Why doesn't RDM detect new versions properly?
I sometimes get the new tab for installing the new release and the release notes appearing but never understand the timing of it. I'd like to be in control of when to upgrade, rather than having my users get the upgrade pop-up.

And why doesn't RDM provide a menu for upgrading whenever we want?

Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.

If I recall correctly, there was an issue with new version detection in version 2024.3.20. This should have been resolved in the latest release.

Regarding the option to manually check for updates, you can find it by navigating to Help > Check for Updates.
