Hi,
I am running v8.3.3.0 on Win7 and using an embedded RDP session. When I open a session with the RDM application in a window only using half the screen, and then resize the RDM application to full screen, the RDP session will now be just a small window centred in the app. Thats OK and expected - I then right click the tab and choose reconnect which will correctly reconnect the session with adjusted resolution and size to fill the RDM Window. However, the mouse will not work on the bottom half of the session. It appears that anything below the bottom of where the old small session ended (prior to reconnect) will not register any mouse activity. (eg can't click the Start menu)
If I resize the RDM application window in any way (eg minimise then maximise) it will then work OK.
I have tried enabling/disabling both Smart Scale Sizing and 'Fit embedded RDp session to Window' and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
This problem is most noticeable when working with dual monitors of different resolution. If I start the session on one monitor, then move it to a different monitor with larger resolution and do the above resize/reconnect the mouse just wont work at the bottom of the session until to do another resize to get it to realise the correct window dimensions.
Thanks.
Matt
Hi,
Could you try to right click on RDM, select the Compatibility tab page and "Disable Display Scaling on High DPI settings"
David Hervieux
Thanks. I ticked this setting and restarted but it has not made any difference - problem still occurs.

Does changing tab also fix the issue?
David Hervieux
No. I tried changing to the Dashboard tab, and also to another server tab and back but mouse still wont work at bottom.

Could you post a print screen of the zone?
David Hervieux
Screenshot attached showing before and after doing 'Reconnect' command. You will note the portion of the screen that wont work directly relates to where the bottom of original session was before reconnecting. The top and other edges outside the original size all work OK - it is only the bottom.
oops - screenshot here

Could you reproce it with RDCMan from Microsoft?
David Hervieux
I can't seen any equivalent 'Reconnect' option in RDCMan. I can choose disconnect and then connect and this works without any problem - but doing this also works in RDM.
You're right. Perhaps the Ms ActiveX just does not re-initialize correctly. What I could do, is a full disconnect and connect.
