Hello, my english is not so good but I hope it will be understandebale I will write ;)
I have one Problem with one Server, I cant connect remote to this server. On the other servers the connection works without problems.
On the Connect Button is a red X displayed, but is not on the other servers. And I dond know how I can change this?
With the normal Microsoft Remote connection I can connect to the server without Problems.
When I will connect to different server, I got always this Button, without red X.
The Message when I clicking on the Bypass Console is:
Bute the the settings are on all Server the same:
How I can change the connection from Open Session (Bypass Console/Admin Mode) to Open Session (Console/Admin mode)??
Remote Desktop Manager Standart Edition 8.2.0.0 / OS Windows 2008 Standart
Connected Servers via Remote Desktop Manager 34, Without one Server with the problem above..
Thank you.
Mikka

Hi Mikka
Check that Security layer is set to Negotiate on the server:
Terminal Services Configuration > RDP-Tcp > General > Security layer > Negotiate
Does it help?

Do you have the latest RDP client installed? What OS do you use?

PS: My colleagues are using serverals versions, expl. 7.3.0 and this issue does not occur.
What OS your colleague has?
David Hervieux
OS Windows 2008 Standart...
FYI: Oly the connection via "Open Session (External) is working wihout problems. Therfore is this problem not really urgent. On this way I can connect.
Could you try to install the RDP update?
