Hi,

I'll ping this thread. Is this function implemented yet? I found a keyboard shortcut "ctrl+alt+arrow (left & right)" that should switch between tabs. But it don't seems to work for me.

I have two SSH connections with PuTTy thats I'm trying to tab between.

Looks like PuTTy is capturing the key strokes in this case since it works with embedded RDP sessions for example. We will need to investigate further.

Cool, thanks. For your information I'm using Putty-tray, but its built on putty.

This is the most difficult aspect of RDM, shortcuts. We have so many variables that a normal application does not have since we host many different applications and they all want to capture the keystrokes.

Ye, I understand that. Wonder if it works if i disable all shortcuts in Putty. I can try that next week when I'm at the office again.

Have a nice weekend!

Is there a way to disable the shortcut keys?

I frequently use ctrl-shift-arrow to select a word at once. But this makes me switch to a next RDM tab.

I would like to be able to configure this.

By the way. ctrl-alt-arrow changes the oriëntation of the display for me. :)

Hi,
Yes you can change the shortcut or disable them in File->Options and this is in User Interface -> Keyboard

Hi,

could it be that this is still not working?

I'm looking for a keyboard shortcut to switch between open session / tabs.

Hello Sasha,

The default shortcuts on my end are ctrl+****+right/left , and they do work on my machine running RDM 2022.3.27. What version are you currently using?

For me it's Ctrl+<TAB> (on Windows 11 with a German keyboard layout, RDM 2022.3.27). I can't see it anywhere explicitly assigned (under "Options > Keyboard") - yet it works and it's probably the most intuitive one.

Hi Thorsten, Hi Richard

Thank you, you're perfectly right, it was the first thing i tried, it's not working for me though (Switzerland).

Hello Sasha,

enabled is fine. Can you try to reset the shortcuts to default? If the focus is on another tab, is the Ctrl+Shift+L shortcut working? (should focus the Dashboard)

Hi Min,

Still the same, not working.

Since i'm working on a Win 11 VM (Hyper-V), I thought that could be the problem. Well i went and installed the RDM on a local computer, not working. I still had it installed on my workstation in my office from maybe a year back, updated to the latest version, not working.

I also remember trying this like maybe 2 years back on my workstation and it also wasn't working, then i just let it be.

So for now i tried on 4 different workstations (HP Z) and that VM, all the same.

I'd really love to get this over with some how because it's a big help if you use the keyboard alot.

Anybody from Devolutions maybe?

Thank you guys!
