Has anyone attempted this?
I'm trying to get RDM to run under Wine on OS X - this is the last thing keeping me from dumping windows altogether. I understand the challenges behind getting the supporting programs to work (RDP, VNC, PuTTY, etc..), but I'm taking this one step at a time.
I've kind of lost track of what I've done to get as far as I have, but I can get RDM to run, but not populate any session lists even with a local source:
I can even add a session, but it doesn't show up. I feel like I'm SO close! I did try crossover to no avail- I was able to get farther using wine with winetricks than I could with crossover. I was able to install .NET framework with winetricks as well as a couple of other dependencies (can't remember what they are now)... but there's just something missing. Perhaps someone who has been involved with the development of Remote Desktop Manager can shed some light on this.
Thanks!

Ouff,
I don't know what might be the problem, first, you can try to use the latest version 5.7.2.0. After that, you can check in the help menu in the application log to see if an error message happened.
there is many interop call done (ActiveX), I'm not that it will be possible to really port the application.

I completely forgot about this because I forgot to enable email notifications. Thanks for the quick reply, I'll revisit this when I have some free time and report my results.
Still waiting for those results, lol....
This is also the last item for me as well as far as completely moving off of Windows to Mac. Currently I have VMware Fusion running a Windows XP VM just to run RDM. In the interim, I've been using an app called CoRD. Nothing like RDM, but it gets me over the humps.
Once I figure this out, I'll be able to renew my Enterprise version.

I ended up switching back to Windows, so never made any real progress. I got close, but never got it to work.
