Session Host sub-entries are hidden in "prompt on connection" dialog window
1 vote
We need to reduce the number of visible entries in the Tree View and we've found that a good option might be to use the "Host" session entry for each system/device/computer (etc) and "sub-entries" for each type of connection to it (rdp, web, idrac/ilo, ssh, etc.).
The problem is that if we disable/uncheck the global option "Load sub-entry in tree view" to hide all sub-entries they are neither visible in the pop-up window when you double-click a Host session entry that is configured witth the "sub entry to launch" and "prompt on connection" options on it.
Could a new function or option be added to make the sub-entries always visible in this window so I can select them even if the are hidden in the main Tree View?
Much appreciated.
Thank you for the request. I've opened a ticket, we'll see what we can do.

Hello,
We've modified the Load subentry in tree view option to only work on the main navigation pane tree view (and also updated its text to reflect that). Sub-entries should be properly loaded in other contexts from now on. You can expect this to take effect with the upcoming 2025.3.15 version.

Hello,
Thank you for being so patient!
I'm letting you know that version 2025.3.16.0 of RDM is now available with the changes.
Please let us know if this works or if you encounter any issues.
