Hello,

Regarding the mobile app, how can I configure my smartphones to launch my AnyDesk sessions
just like with the desktop app?
Thank you.

Hi,

Thank you for your question.

Unlike the desktop version, it is currently not possible to open AnyDesk sessions from our mobile applications. For security reasons, mobile applications can be more restrictive when it comes to inter-application communication. As a result, programmatically interacting with or launching the AnyDesk mobile app in the same way as on desktop platforms may not be supported.

We recommend contacting AnyDesk support directly to confirm whether their mobile application provides any options for launching AnyDesk sessions by other apps on Android or iOS. If they do offer such capabilities, they should be able to provide the necessary technical information, such as supported URL schemes, intent filters, or API documentation.

Should you receive any details from them, feel free to share them with us and we’ll be happy to review and help integrate the functionality if feasible.

Best regards,

In the mobile app, anydesk id can be sent to the anydesk app with the share feature. Anydesk application already automatically uses the id that comes with the share.

Hi,

Thank you for the additional information.

If the AnyDesk mobile app can accept an ID via the share feature, this could potentially allow us to implement a similar integration in our mobile application.
We’ll go ahead and create an internal ticket to investigate this possibility further. However, please note that while we will evaluate the feasibility of implementing such functionality, we cannot commit to a specific timeline for its development or release.

Best Regards,

Hello,

Thank you for your patience.

You should now be able to update to the latest version of RDM and use the AnyConnect entry without any issues.

Best regards,
