HI,
We get 2 warnings in system eventlog when a user starts RDM as a published App from Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
The warning is about the Custom Virtual Channel "RDMCmd" that is not allowed by default.
What is the purpos of this custom virtual channel?
How do we fix, to avoid the warning?
It is not possible to add this custom virtual channel to the Citrix Virtual Channel Allow List Policy as it is not a valid ID. A valid ID must be 3-7 characters all upper case, only letters and digits, and start with a letter.
Here is the event, found in this documentation Troubleshooting | Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 2411

Hi Erica,
Thank you for the quick reply.
It was possible to allow the custom virtual channel by using only upper case letters in the Citrix Policy.
Using: "RDMCMD,C:\Program Files\Devolutions\Remote Desktop Manager\RemoteDesktopManager.exe" is now allowing the virtual channel.
I will not need further help on this subject at the moment.
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us on that matter.
These channels are mainly used with the RDM Jump feature. We have an internal ticket to disable them if the RDM Jump feature isn't used.
As this ticket is in the backlog, would you like us to raise the priority for this internal ticket?
Thanks for letting us know.
Best regards,
