Hello,
I'm not sure if it's a request feature or a lack of my knowledge.
I'm using RDM to connect to multiple servers at a time through a VPN connection.
When the VPN gets disconnected, the connections are obviously disconnected after some time.
When I resume the VPN, I'd like to be able to restore all connections that were opened when VPN got lost.
Is there already a way to achieve this (except noting the server names in the message boxes)?
Thanks,
Florent

Hello Florent,
Could you try configuring the "keep tab page opened on disconnect" for your RDP entry? You can find the setting in the "user interface" section of your entry. You can also set the default value in File > Settings > Entry Types if this is something you want to apply to your entries by default.
In your RDP entry:
In File > Settings > Entry types:
When you have this configured, the tab will stay opened even after losing the connection, and you should be able to reconnect them much more easily that way. Let me know if this works for you, otherwise we'll see what we can add to make this process easier.

Hello Hubert,
Thank you for the advice!
It does the trick well and the "Connect when available" is handy when I reboot the remote machine.
One thing I may complain though (users are demanding right :-) ), is the tab remains open when we explicitly close the Windows session. It adds an extra click to close the tab.
I got used to use the MMB on the tab header. But again, it's an extra step that would be nice to avoid.
Thanks,
Florent
I'm glad this feature works well for you.
As for the tab staying opened when the remote session is closed "normally" (rather than being disconnected from loss of connection for example), we would have to rework the feature but RDP does give different error codes depending on how the disconnection happened, so it seems possible.
I've opened an internal ticket but at the moment this isn't planned in a roadmap. We'll monitor this thread for additional feedback to help us prioritise this.
