Font rendering in terminal

avatar

I am depending on terminal and using RDM Free MAC on a daily basis. I want to prettify my setup with some fonts like terminess from nerdfonts but the said font doesn't rendered in terminal tool and it fallsback to default font. I can use terminess in my other terminal apps such as iterm2 and terminal.app. If it isn't too much, can i ask is it possible to make the trminess font redered correctly?

Thanks in advance..

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.

Have you tried using any other fonts from Nerd Fonts?
Based on my testing, I can confirm that at least two of them are not working as expected.

Could you confirm whether any external fonts are functioning correctly in RDM, for both testing and reporting purposes?

Please let me know.
I look forward to your reply.

Thanks for your reply,

Actually 3270 font is working paftially, just one variation (condensed) of the font is working without antialiasing whichever variation i choose. Only OCR A Extended font is working which I have installed externally.

But the terminess font is really a terminal font :) if it is possible i want to use the terminess in RDM

Thanks

Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up.

After some additional testing, we were able to get it working. Once the font is changed in the settings, restarting RDM allows the change to take effect.

Please let me know if this works for you.
