Unusable after internet disconnects shortly when using Devolutions Hub as storage
I am using Devolutions Hub Personal to store RDM sessions. When my ISP connection drops, even if it is restored after a few seconds, RDM opens "Authorize Remote Desktop Manager" page in browser and becomes unusable: no new connection can be established to any session. It doesn't matter if you authorize with the webpage or not. I even cannot close RDM, the window disappears, but the process still runs, and I cannot relaunch RDM until I kill it with a task manager.
I suggest changing the way you work with remotely-stored sessions DB from "completely depend on network access to the cloud" to "keep local DB copy, sync periodically" to survive network issues.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,
Could you please specify the version of RDM you are currently using?
Is this an issue that started occurring recently for you, or have you been having this problem across multiple versions?
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
Hello,
Have also been experiencing a similar symptom with RDM 2025.1.x and Hub. Often when waking laptop up from sleep/hibernate mode, RDM becomes unresponsive. Closing the application window/GUI often leaves a RemoteDesktopManager.exe process running in background, and relaunching results in a duplicate process but no visible RDM window. Terminating any running RDM processes, and relaunching RDM seems get it running properly again, but somewhat of an inconvenient workaround.
Please let me know if you would like more info.
Thanks
Joe
Hello, Samuel!
Thank you for a swift response! I currently run 2025.1.25.0 64-bit, but this issue happens for a long time on different versions, ever since I switched from local storage to the Hub.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply,
I see, would both of you be able to test with the latest version 2025.1.33.0 and confirm if you also encounter the issue?
Let me know,
Best regards,
Samuel Dery
