I can't grasp how to use windows management in RDM. Can you please kindly advise? I can't get a concept.
Troubles I experience:
Is anyway to keep just normal, usual, default Windows switching logic? Minimize into taskbar, "windowed" into RDM tab or just regular window as by RDP default, maximize into fullscreen and avoid any extra controls?
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.
The closest workaround I can suggest would be to set the entry as undocked.
This way, you'll benefit from the flexibility of minimizing the tab as you would in Windows, while still being able to recall the connection within the tab in Remote Desktop Manager.
Would this be a suitable solution for your needs?
Best regards,
Carl Marien
Hi,
Thanks but isn't is a bug?
In smart sizing, in such flow:
full screen -> windowed (docked) -> full screen -> minimized
RDP window is minimized to nowhere. There is no way to restore it but into full screen using context menu. You can't view it docked and "focused" anymore.
Hello,
I am still unable to reproduce the issue, even with the explanation you provided.
Would it be possible for you to record a video demonstrating the steps to recreate the issue? I will send you a link via email where you can upload the video.
This would greatly help us in understanding and reproducing the problem.
Best regards,
Carl Marien
