Back in the day I used to use the sub-entries and a sidebar on the right side of the screen that would list the sub-entries for my various terminals (PowerShell, CMD... ) that held specific typing macros for those with one liners and such.
With that having gone away, could we get that functionality back through the new macro/scripting palette?
It would be nice if we could have something similar to the SSH one you have in place, but be able to add them to any terminal that we setup. I can see some use for myself as well as others on my team having simple oneline commands that could be available for CMD, PowerShell, SSH, iOS/NexxusOS, and more. Being able to build out the lists for those various lists would be nice.
Also being able to select an entire folder of macros would be neat in the current custom selection. I have been arranging my Cisco commands into a folder to make it easier to find them for adding into the custom list, but just grabbing that entire folder or selecting more than one would be nice.
And being able to move that menu to a auto hiding sidebar would be amazing as well.
Excellent product. Used for a decade plus for literally everything and couldn't work without it.
Hello,
Thank you for the requests. I think what you're suggesting makes a lot of sense. We've been making new features regarding scripting and commands in the past few major versions, like the terminal command palette as well as the script dashboard. This kind of feature would fit nicely into what we offer.
We'll monitor this thread for additional feedback so we can better prioritize this in our future roadmaps.
