Microsoft RD Gateway not working in 2025.1.29.0

Hi, after upgrading to 2025.1.29.0, the following setup stopped working for me when connecting to the remote desktop machines using a RD Gateway:

I have a VPN/Tunnel/Gateway - Microsoft RD Gateway entry set up with correct gateway address set-up.
I also have the credentials entry set up with correct credentials information.
In the actual Remote desktop connection entry, I have the correct gateway selected in the VPN/Tunnel/Gateway section selected.

This has worked until upgrading to 2025 version (and still works for my colleagues that are at 2024 version).

With 2025 version, I am getting this:
This is unfortunately too generic to give me any useful information on what is wrong.

When I set the connection up with the gateway in a normal .rdp file, everything works just fine.

Any suggestion on what to do?

What type of data source are you using?

If you are using an advanced data source like a SQL Server for example, I would like to confirm your colleagues still on RDM 2024 are using the same data source?

Hello Samuel,

I am using XML data source (same as my colleagues). Basically, if I used the same RDM vault and import it into 2024 version, it works, when I import it into 2025, it does not.
