Password list - no “Add” button on roles tab

Password list - no “Add” button on roles tab

Some time ago we used the “roles” option in the “Password List” to make login data available to designated people - example below:


Unfortunately, for some time now I have not been able to add new accounts. No “add” button in used “password list” and new ones.


Has anything changed?

  • Did you update RDM recently? If yes, do you recall which version you were on?


  • Your current RDM version.


  • The operating system you are using, and its version.


  • The data source you are utilizing.


  • Could you try to use the search option on the right and see if you can find your roles?

Answers below:

  • Did you update RDM recently? If yes, do you recall which version you were on? I update periodically. The problem has been there for several updates (minimum).
  • Your current RDM version - 2025.1.27.0 64-bit
  • The operating system you are using, and its version - Windows 11 Business 23H2
  • The data source you are utilizing - MSSQL Server (local)
