Have the RDM Tools use the gateway where applicable

The RDM tools should be able to use the gateway for access to servers when the gateway is available. Tools that rely on any of the protocols that the gateway supports should be able to use the gateway instead of failing because the protocol is blocked.

Hello,

In our 2025.1 we have begun converting the RDM remote tools to be cross platform (Windows, MacOS and Linux) and use Avalonia for the UI and our new PowerShell stack for connections, so it should technically be possible for us to support Gateway tunneling for access to these tools. I have a created a ticket so that we can fix this as soon as possible. Is there a particular RDM tool that you are most interested in using over Gateway? So far we have converted Services, Task Manager, Printers and Event Viewer, we will be doing the rest soon, and we will support Gateway.

Thanks,
Paul

Is there any update on adding Gateway support to the updated tools? Also, are there plans to make the new tools accessible from the context-menu for hosts, alongside (or replacing) the existing ones?

This would be an amazing addition!
