Backup password to 1Password

Hello,

In order to improve the security of our break glass accounts, I would like a way to activate a rotation on some account and backup the password on 1password.
This would be very interesting in case of a any failure of Devolutions PAM.
Would it be possible ?
Or is there a way to do this already ?

Hi sylv___,

It would be possible via password propagation. You could make a propagation script that uses the 1Password CLI to update entries in your vault. That being said, it would undermine the checkout system that comes with the Devolutions PAM so I would suggest against that approach unless you are not interested in the checkout and auditing systems that we offer.

Hi Luc,

Thank you for this answer. Again it's only for break glass account in case of issue with Devolutions. It's not intend to be used in a regular manner.
I'm gonna look into it.
