I have a very weird issue.
When I try to open an SSH connection from RDM in Windows or Linux (to my AWS hosted Linux box), the screen just flashes green or white for a second, and then no output is shown on the terminal screen. However when I start the session from Linux terminal ssh command, the connection work perfectly. When I check the who on the server, the ssh session is live for all three. So I presume this has something to do with rendering or maybe with communication with ssh library. There is never any error shown and the connection icon in RDM is green, indicating its on. This used to work a few updates before.
I connect using identity pem file stored in the vault and linked to the connection itself.
I cant post anything since the terminal screen is black :) On both systems I use the latest RDM.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to Devolutions Support.
This issue seems unusual. Did it start occurring after updating to version 2025.1.25?
If so, were you prompted to install .NET 9? If not, please try installing it using the link below and see if that resolves the issue:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/9.0?cid=get-dotnet-9
If the problem persists, please follow the steps outlined in the following documentation to reset RDM to its default settings, as this may help:
https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/kb/how-to-articles/reset-rdm-to-default-settings/
Best regards,
Carl Marien
