I just installed version 10.3.2 (27) and I am now experiencing the same behavior. It creates a new temporary connection every time and does not delete them when disconnecting. Note that I had to rename NXCLI.exe to NECLI.exe as per another post. Also I have tried with the "Automatically delete profile on close" option checked and unchecked.

Hi,

We have fixed the issue internally. The changes should be available starting with version 2025.3 which should be release in fall. We wont be adding these changes to a minor version since we had to change quite a lot of code to make it work. If you are in need of a fix now we recommend rolling back your version of NetExtender to a version prior to 10.3 where the CLI changes were made.

Thanks for your update. Unfortunately, my company and my clients require me to be on the latest version. Are there any other options?

Hello,

We'll see what's possible to bring to RDM 2025.2 in a minor update. At the moment we're focusing on bug fixes but afterwards we'll see if it's possible to bring these changes earlier. We don't want to create any instability and this improvement/fix required some backend changes to how we perform the opening/closing of VPNs.

Hi,

After consulting with the other dev teams and looking at the impact of the changes we decided to bring them to 2025.2
It should be available starting with version 2025.2.17 which should be release next week
