Open tasklist as a default tab (part of playlist) at startup

In the Main Ribbon, under the Window tab, there is Global Task List panel. This panel always updates itself to show the task list of the entry that is currently selected in the tree view. If you have the Auto focus item on tab select option activated (located in File - Settings - User interface - Tree view, under the General section. Note that this option is usually enabled by default) this task list will update whenever selecting a related opened connection tab.

The Global Task List panel can be placed anywhere desired (including in the tabs section showcased in the screenshot you provided) and will save its location, persisting even after closing RDM.
