Is there away to create an IP List entry and collect all the IPs from the sessions list in the vault?
Thinking this could be an ideal entry to allow us to create a small IPAM per vault for reference.
Thanks
Iain

Hello,
That's an interesting idea. Do you think having a button "import from current vault IPs" would work for you, or do you need it to be dynamic and not requiring a manual update?
Also, I assume what you're looking for is the "host" field of the entry, is that correct? Or do you need to resolve this field to an IP? Or are you talking about a different field altogether?
I see a lot of different ways we could implement this so I want to be sure I understand your needs.

Hi Hubert,
It was just a idea that popped into my head while reading another thread. I like the idea of being able to create a mini IPAM entry for reference.
Ideally I suppose "host" field does make the most sense.
Dynamic would be great so as to update as and when new entries appear. However, manual would be a good starting point.
Thanks

Thank you for the additional information. I've opened an internal ticket for this. We'll see if it's possible to add both modes.
For the dynamic mode though it would be more like the Smart Folder entry where it's a query that's executed and returns the found values. That means you couldn't manually enter other values on top of the ones found dynamically.

Morning Hubert,
Just wondering if there is any news on this?
Thanks

Hello Iain,
Nothing new for now unfortunately. We'll see if we're able to add the manual button for 2025.2, but our schedule is a little tight right now so I don't want to promise it.

Hubert Mireault
Understood, thank you!

Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad it works well for you!
At the moment the "dynamic" mode is not scheduled to be worked on but we'll monitor this thread for additional feedback, as usual.

Understood, fingers crossed it gets enough interest then as it would finish it off completely.
Thanks

I was just looking for this option, how can i manage to import the entries? I was not able to found the needed button / option. Can you provide a screenshot? Thank you!
Nevermind, I just found the button.
The feature is a good beginning. We are managing our customers, therefore we have many IP Addresses. It would be nice to have the ability to filter the import for IP Addresses by Folders or Tags. What do you think?
Another suggestion: Batch Edit for IP Address Entries: If I have several hosts on the same subnet, it would be comfortable if we can mark all of them and set the Subnet Address, Gateway, VLAN ID, etc. all at once for every entry which have the same values within those fields.
Best regards, John

Hello John,
You can find the button when editing your IP Address List entry:
This will check what already exists in your current vault and populates the IP address list entry with that information.
As a note we also received a request to have a CSV import for this feature but this is not currently available.
EDIT: Thank you Iain, you were faster than I was 😄

What about my questions here?
Best regards, John
@John Bruhin I think those are two solid ideas. We'll note them for future improvements as well. Sorry, I hadn't seen the edited version of your post so I missed that.
@Iain This is a bug and our dev who implemented the feature is working on a fix. We should have this fixed for 2025.1.33.0 which we are hoping to release by the end of the week. Thanks for reporting this!

Hi there
Any update on this?
We have a strong requirement for this feature: We are managing many customers, therefore we have many IP Addresses. It would be nice to have the ability to filter the import for IP Addresses by Folders or Tags.

Hello John,
At the moment this is on our internal roadmap for our 2025.3 version releasing later this fall. We're hoping that these improvements will make it in, but as we're just now starting a new development cycle, it's more difficult to confirm, as there might be issues to solve that we didn't consider along the way.

Hubert Mireault
Hello,
We've added the following:
These changes should take effect with the upcoming 2025.3 version that will be coming out this fall.
