Hello.
In Putty, we can easily copy the adequate format for pasting in the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file.
I'm not able to achieve this with RDM 2024.3.27.0 or maybe I'm not looking at the right location.
I'm only able to get this format:
But I'm looking for this:
Thank you.
Best regards.

If you have an existing ssh key on disk, you can load it in the SSH key generator (under Tools in the ribbon) by using the load buttons at the bottom of the dialog. The key will then be displayed int he authorized keys format.
However this made me realize that we do not have a convenient way to get this from an SSH key entry, I'm taking a note to add way to get it easily.

Hello Marcel,
Thank you for reaching out.
I understand that you need to generate an OpenSSH-formatted public key for use in the `~/.ssh/authorized_keys` file within RDM. You can follow the steps outlined in our documentation here: https://docs.devolutions.net/rdm/commands/tools/ssh-key.

Hello Sébastien.
Yes it would be great if we could just copy it from the entry itself.
Thank you and best regards.

Hello.
Thank you for the implementation.
Marcel
Apologies for not getting back to you sooner, we added buttons in the ribbon to copy the public and private key of SSH key entries.

Yes, I saw that :-) thank you.
We made another small quality of life improvement, in RDM 2025.2 (due to release in June) it will be possible to copy the public key in different formats.
