Domain User login for Windows and SSH

Domain User login for Windows and SSH

avatar

Maybe I just do not know how to do this correctly but here is my situation:

Setting "My Privileged Account" account in RDM works great for Windows, but not so great for SSH.

  • Username is filled out as user.name
  • Domain is filled out as my.domain.org
  • SSH logins do not put those two together as it does not recognize the field of domain, so it only passes the username so it is not authenticating the domain user.

Hello,

You can configure your SSH entry's "username format" to match the format you'd like for it. This is available in the advanced tab of the entry:

The SSH protocol itself doesn't have a way to specify the domain so it has to be passed through the username directly. The username format configuration should let you specify the format you need for it.

Let me know if that works for you.
