Edit Session (User Specific) setting greyed out

Edit Session (User Specific) setting greyed out

avatar

Hi,

When I try to use the Edit Session (User Specific) setting it is greyed out in the menu. This option was available earlier. I am not sure if this is related but today we were not able to connect using integrated security. We had to create a new data source and connect with a user and password.

We are using Enterprise Version 5.6.3.0. Last week I was looking at the new beta 5.7.0.11 which stated it required a database upgrade prior to using. I have been using this for a week without issues until today.

Any thoughts as to what is happening or to why integrated security would stop functioning?

Thanks,
Larry

Hi Larry,
To allow the User Specific, the user must exists in RDM, even if you use the Integrated security. Just add you user in the database, for example: devolutions\dhervieux.

I hope this help

Hi,

That worked. Any thoughts on the Integrated security issue?

Hi,
Can you give me the error message you got?

Hi,

I was able to resolve this issue. It turned out to be a firewall rule that was only open to a small range of ports. This range had to be expanded. Was not an easy thing to find.

Thanks,
Larry
