Password Safe Admin Sessions

Password Safe Admin Sessions

While we prefer our users to use Password Safe directly or via RDM, we are not able to onboard some systems fast enough and so we have Admin Sessions available to all users. It would be great if this could be exposed via RDM as a Session type. I know the PWS API has this as I have a home-grown Powershell module that does Admin Sessions without issue.

Hi!

Could you provide a link to the documentation on the related subject? This would help us in determining more precisely what we are talking about here. Providing the PowerShell module could also a very good way to get us started.

Hi,

As of RDM 2025.1, Admin Sessions are now supported, both directly through the dashboard (right -> Open admin session) and through the Beyond Trust Password Safe entry (Advanced -> Connect mode -> Admin session).
