Known Issues after Windows Server 2016 -> 2022 WinServer inplace upgrade?

Hello Community,

We are upgrading our Windows Servers via inplace routine.
Are there any known issues with the Devolutions Server Console you can warn me about?
Otherwise i would just go with a normal Backup of the configuration.

Sincerely,

Simon

Hello Simon,
Thank you for reaching out to our forum, upgrading your Windows Servers in-place can impact applications like Devolutions Server.
To ensure a smooth transition, consider the following doing a Database Backup as well backing up your web application please follow this instructions ,

Additional Considerations: Service Accounts and Permissions: Ensure that service accounts, such as the IIS Application Pool Identity and Scheduler accounts, retain the necessary permissions post-upgrade. This is crucial for the proper functioning of Devolutions Server components.

And finally Testing: After completing the in-place upgrade and verifying backups, test the Devolutions Server functionality to confirm all services operate as expected.

By following these steps, you can mitigate potential issues with Devolutions Server during your Windows Server in-place upgrade.
