Hi,
"I am trying to enforce a Group Policy Object (GPO) policy to disable the capability of saving credentials in Devolutions RDM through Microsoft Active Directory. Does Devolutions RDM include GPO templates that support this functionality?"
Thank you
Hello,
Here's an example of which field should be removed with the GPO.

Hello,
Currently there are a few options in the system settings to disallow saving credentials. You can find them in Administration > System Settings > Password Policy:
Could you try these out and see if it works for you?

Thanks, When should I get an update on this?
We will post back here when we have an update on this. I can't give you an estimate at the moment, as we have a lot of other feature requests to get to.

Hello,
We've added 3 GPO which will have the same effect (and override) the aforementioned system settings. Their respective name are:
DisablePasswordSavingInVaults
DisablePasswordSavingInTools
DisablePasswordSavingInUserSpecificSettings
You can expect these with the upcoming 2025.1.11 version.

Hello,
The password history is not stored in cleartext but you can reveal it through this window, yes. You can also encrypt the information in your database by password-protecting it, as I believe you're on SQLite.
If you'd like for us to add a GPO to disable the password history feature, we could add that as well.

Hello,
Thank you for being this patient!
If possible, could you update your RDM to the latest version (2025.1.38.0)? This version should resolve your issue.
Since this version should resolve the problem, I will mark this thread as resolved.
