Very Slow Scrolling in ARD sessions

Hello!

I'm using my android tablet to connect to ARD sessions on my Apple Silicon Mac.
When using touchscreen or touchpad mode, I'm facing very slow scrolling using the two finger gestures as well as the scroll wheel.
The screen scrolls a few lines on each gesture and then stops.
I searched the forum and saw other posts that said the scrolling speed must be changed on the remote Mac.
I have tried to set this to the highest speed, however it did not make a difference in the scroll speed.
As well, I tried changing the wheel scroll speed in the settings in RDM under Settings -> Sessions -> Unified Remote Connection Settings. However this again has not seemed to make a difference.

Please let me know if there is an option or setting I have missed.
