Iperius Remote Addon no longer working
Hi,
when Iperius remote switched from v3.x to v4.x the RDM Iperius addon ceased to work.
The message was "Unable to find executable".
I discovered that it simply cannot find Iperius executable, as Iperius changed the installation folder from
\\Program Files\Iperius Remote (with a space between Iperius & Remote)
to
\\Program FIles\IperiusRemote (without spaces).
To temporary solve the problem I duplicated actual folder (IperiusRemote) as the old one (Iperius Remote) and it runs.
It's not a solution, as Iperius can update its own folder.
Why not make the addon to search both path to be compatible with version 3 AND 4?

Thank you for the information. We will open a ticket to change it so it checks both paths by default.
As a note, you can also configure the path RDM will search for by going in File > Settings > Application > Paths > Configure installation paths, and changing the path for Iperius Remote.

I tried your suggestion (from settings) and it's perfectly working. I deleted the clone folder.
In fact, if you are thinking about a patch, it would be better having both options, as version 3 and 4 of iperius remote are often active at the same time, on different targets.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad this works.
I've made a change to support both paths as the default. I believe if both are found you will get a prompt, otherwise you can specify which of the two you would like by configuring the path yourself. This should make it easier to use for users who have version 3, version 4, or both installed at the same time. This will be available starting with 2024.3.17.0 (unfortunately this did not make it into our next minor update, so it will be for the one after). Let us know if you've got any additional feedback once this version is released.
