Hello,
The support for the MacOs Secure enclave is in the plans just not the short term plans.
We plan to try and make a proof of concept by the end of 2024, and if everything go well,
we will try to integrate the secure enclave somewhere in 2025.
These are the plans so far. But they can changes. I hope this answer your questions about it.
Best regards,
Michel Lambert
Hello @Michel Lambert and @carl marien,
I wanted to check in and ask if there are any updates on this, or if you have a rough timeframe for when it might be implemented.
This feature would be a great addition for our team.
Thanks a lot!
Best regards,
Timo
Hello Timo,
First, sorry for the delay,
we did a bit of work on the Secure Enclave integration, but we haven't got very far and it still not really in our immediate priorities.
What would help us getting it higher in our priorities would be examples of how it is used in your team.
Secure Enclave give us a bit of a design challenge since the way it is made, there's close to no transferability between computers or systems so for now we don't see any real gains to integrate the Secure Enclave to RDM Mac.
Maybe you can help us on that point. It will help us properly prioritize it.
Best regards,
Michel Lambert
