External Browser Option Per Team User

Hi Team,

How do we set up each user's RDM so that Web entries open in the external browser of their choice? Currently, our shared DVLS vault has them set to open in Edge internal to RDM. However, some users want that to open externally due to multiple displays and sizes. I have been a bit surprised to not find any options for this so far.

Hello Jimmy,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this,

The user could use "User Specific Settings" to change the "Display" of the entry to "External." When a Website entry is set to "External," RDM will open it using the default browser configured on the workstation.

If you wish to use another browser, you can change this Globally by going under "File" -> 'Settings" -> "Entry Types" -> "Website" and changing the "Web Browser (Default)" field.
