drag and drop feature in FTP/SFTP

Hello,

One of my clients has requested an enhancement to add support for drag-and-drop functionality within the FTP/SFTP session in RDM. Currently, while users can download files from the built-in SFTP browser, the inability to drag and drop files directly from the remote host to the local pc remains impossible.

Proposed Improvement:

implementing a drag-and-drop feature to enhance usability when interacting with remote files would complement the current right-click and download functionality, making file transfers more intuitive and user-friendly.

Best regards,

Carl Marien

I am trying to transition from a competitor's product to RDM, and this would be a huge help in the training load. We have a consistent need to download files from remote Linux boxes, and an intuitive download process would be so much easier to communicate. Today, they have a drag/drop interface integrated with their SSH CLI session, very similarly to your own, but yours only allows dragging up to the remote server, not down from it. That limitation means I have to train each of them to right-click on the file and select download. It's not much, but it's enough to keep people from making the switch.

Thank you.

We will see if we have the ability to fast track this change.
